Garbage and Recycling for the North Dodge Neighborhood is Mondays.
If your bin is in bad shape and needs replacing, call 791-3171
The city of Tucson is very happy to quickly replace damaged and broken bins! These bins can create serious health risks especially when rainwater can get into them. They can provide shelter for rodents and vermin and create health hazards for wildlife. Please take two minutes and request a new bin when and if you need one. They are free of charge! |

Recycling Centers
Not a lot of apartment complexes have recycling available on the premises for their tenants but lots of apartment dwellers still want to do their part to help the environment! The nearest location for the North Dodge neighborhood is at the Patrick K. Hardesty Center at 1100 S. Alvernon Way. That's the northwest corner of Alvernon and 22nd. But the nearest isn't necessarily the most convenient for you so here's a link to all the Recycling Centers Tucson has: |
"You're Killing Me, Smalls" (The Sandlot, 1993)
Nothing smaller than a tennis ball or an adult fist in your Recycling please! Anything smaller is too small to be captured in the recycling process. Tucson was once erroneously told to specifically remove the caps from bottles and jars -- Do NOT do that! It has been determined that they need to be left on! |
